Billed as the 'Asian Monaco' the inaugural race around the Historic Centre of Singapore was a great success. It was the 1st FIA Formula One Grand Prix to be held at night.

The atmosphere built up all afternoon, after the track action the F1 Parties continued well into the small hours.
