• Budapest Hotels - Tour Itinerary
Your UK based 'Select Travel Team' are on hand to assist you throughout your Tour.
We look forward to greeting you with your Grand Prix Travel Pack including your Race Tickets.
• Flight Arrivals :
Budapest Airport 'Ferihegy Terminal' 1 and 2 ; Transfers on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday - use the Hotel Airport 'Transfer Service' to your Hotel.
Your UK Travel Team look forward to greeting you at the airport.
• 'Welcome Meeting' :
We offer you the opportunity to meet your other F1 travellers while relaxing with a 'Welcome Drink'.
• Circuit Transfers : are offered on Friday - Saturday - Sunday at set times.
The Hungaroring F1 Circuit is fifteen miles from the city. This is a tight circuit and team tactics make this a challenge every time.

• Hotel :
Hotel breakfast is included on all our tours at set times to allow for early departure.
The OPT Hotel :
On the banks of the Danube. It has a swimming pool - sauna - patio - bar & restaurant. All rooms have balcony with private en suite facilities.
Local Restaurants - Evening Transfers - Excursion
There are several local restaurants close to the Hotel offering a range of traditional menu's.
Friday and Saturday we offer a Free Evening Shuttle to Budapest Center.
- On Friday we offer an optional excursion to a traditional Hungarian Evening ( must be pre booked and paid ) - PDF click here
- On Saturday we include a free Tour of Budapest by Night travelling to the Citadella for its night views over the City.
- On Sunday we offer an evening transfer to Szentendre Village which is approx 10 minutes away so you can enjoy dinner with the locals.

Tour Example
• Your travel team and hotel reception are on hand to assist with any excursions.
Wednesday : Flight Arrivals ; transfer to your Hotel, the remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy.
Thursday :
Our Coach Tour arrives from the UK with your 'Select Motor Racing' Travel Team.
Circuit, Pit Lane Walk about
Thursday ; late afternoon we offer our Circuit Transfer giving you the opportunity to Walk the Pit Lane and sample the F1 atmosphere close at hand approx 17:30 to 19:00.
'Welcome Meeting' : we offer you the opportunity to meet your other F1 travellers while relaxing with a 'Welcome Drink'.
Friday: After an early breakfast we depart to the circuit for the F1 track action.
F1 First session 10:00 - 11:30 | 11:55 - 12:25 Support Race practice | F1 Second session 14:00 - 15:30.
We depart the circuit at 16:00 returning direct to the Hotel.
Alternatively the day is free for you to relax and enjoy.
Saturday: After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the days track action.
F1 11:00 - 12:00 Third practice session then 14:00 - 15:00 Qualifying.
For the fans of GP2 we stay to see the Race *15:45 - 17:00.
After the Race we make a prompt departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Sunday: After breakfast we depart to the circuit, to see the support races, Drivers parade and the Grand Prix.
10:00 GP2 Second Race | 11:25 Porsche Supercup | 12:30 F1 Drivers Parade | 14:00 Formula One GP.
After the race we make a slow departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Monday - check out is by 10:30. Take the return Airport Shuttle - please allow extra time as the journey is just over an hour due to traffic.
- Your Final Tour Itinerary is sent approximately three weeks prior to the event.
