Our Tours Terms & Conditions are set out and designed to fully help you understand your responsibility and what we offer.
Please refer to our Prices Page on the link above when reading the Terms.
Grand Prix Events in Europe ; Due to the volatile 'Pound' and 'Euro' Currency exchange rate,
should the rate collapse below 1.08 then we reserve the right to quote you on the Ticket Price at the time of booking.
Other World Currency rates will be advised should these also be effected beyond the normal allowances.

For your added security and peace of mind, we operate an Insurance Bonding Scheme. All Client Payments are held in a bank controlled Client Account with Lloyd's/TSB Bank. This means that these funds can and will only be used to complete arrangements made for you by us. We also have additional cover provision with a 'Combined Liability and Professional Indemnity' Insurance Policy for Tour Operators and Travel Agents, this is part of our compliance with the EEC 1992, Travel Package Regulations.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Your Contract is with Select Motor Racing and the information contained in these Terms & Conditions and Forms are the basis of your contract. Select Motor Racing undertake to ensure that all possible care is taken to see that you have an enjoyable and successful holiday. The conditions below seek to explain as clearly as possible the responsibility undertaken between us when you make, and we accept a booking.
If you wish to book a Select Tour you must complete a booking form including all passengers' names. This booking form must be signed by a member of the party who is over 18 years of age. By signing the booking form that person confirms that they are authorized by the other members of the party to accept the terms of these conditions. Upon receipt of your booking form and deposit, we will then reserve your chosen tour., if available, and confirm the reservation to the person signing the form. As soon as a Confirmation Invoice is issued, a binding contract comes into existence. Your contract with Select Motor Racing is subject to the law and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CONFIRMATION INVOICE AND ALL OTHER DOCUMENTS THOROUGHLY AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THEM. YOU MUST ADVISE US STRAIGHT AWAY IF ANY DETAILS APPEAR INCORRECT AS IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO MAKE AMENDMENTS AT A LATER DATE.
Payment before Booking Form Signed
In today's online banking and instant booking/payments, if you make a payment before signing our booking form then the contract under our Terms and Conditions will be deemed to be as if you had signed the booking form.
If you or any member of your party suffers from a medical condition or disability which may affect their ability to enjoy the benefit of the tour in full or may affect any of their tour arrangements, full details of the disability or medical condition must be advised to Select Motor Racing before or at the time of booking. If in the opinion of Select Motor Racing a particular tour is not suitable for the medical condition or disability drawn to its attention, then Select Motor Racing reserves the right in its sole discretion to refuse a booking. In the event of the medical condition or disability failing to be drawn to its attention before or at the time of booking, Select Motor Racing cannot be held responsible for the failure of that person to enjoy the benefit of the tour in full and further reserves the right to cancel the booking at any stage and cancellation charges will apply.
Disabled Person; to simply say you are registered disabled or blind [ where proven by letters or verbally ], does not mean that we 'Select Motor Racing' or our local agents can be liable for any situations that arise as a result of your disability, resulting in your tour not being carried out for a normal aided person.
Tour Deposit per person: we require a £100 for European Events and £200 for Worldwide Events to secure your place at the time of booking and forms part of the total payment of the tour. Refunds can only be made in the circumstances set out in part 5 of these conditions). Payment of the balance of the invoice is due at the office of Select Motor Racing not less than ten weeks prior to departure. If you book within ten weeks of the departure date of the tour, payment of the full brochure price is due at the time of booking. All prices quoted are in our Tour Guide and it may be subject to alteration/correction of any errors. Select Motor Racing reserves the right to cancel any booking for which payment of the balance is overdue (i.e. not received at the office of Select Motor Racing, ten weeks prior to departure date) Cancellation charges will apply. (As set out in part 3. CANCELLATION, of these Conditions). As part of our Financial Security Statement , please ensure that all payments are made payable to Select Motor Racing Client Account. This is for your added protection and our compliance with the EEC 1992, Travel Package Regulations.
If for any reason you decide to cancel your tour, this must be done in writing by the person who signed the booking form. The date of cancellation is taken as the date when the written confirmation of the cancellation is received at the office of Select Motor Racing. A fee will be charged as follows for cancellation. The Tour deposit will be kept as part of the cancellation fee to cover administration charges. Insurance Cover if taken out will be kept as part of the cancellation fee to cover administration charges. Additional Monies paid on account towards your holiday will be refunded subject to the following. (The cancellation fee is worked out as a percentage of the total cost of the tour). If we received your written confirmation, your cancellation fee will be:
MORE THAN 10 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE - LOSS OF DEPOSIT and Administration Cost.
TO 10 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE - 50% OF TOTAL TOUR COST.
TO 8 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE - 75% OF TOTAL TOUR COST.
TO 6 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE - 95% OF TOTAL TOUR COST.
UP TO 4 WEEKS BEFORE DEPARTURE - 100% OF TOTAL TOUR COST.
LESS THAN 48 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE - 100% OF TOUR COST.
Make sure that you are in receipt of written confirmation from Select Motor Racing of notice of your cancellation. If you are covered by insurance, you may be able to recover the cost of these cancellation fees.
Select Motor Racing operate subject to a minimum number of bookings per Tour. If this number is not achieved we have no alternative but to cancel the Tour. You will receive notification of any cancellation no later than the date on which the balance of your Tour payment become due.
Exchange Rate SGB£
Tour prices can be subject to surcharge if just paying a deposit or amounts on account.
If currency rates change due to Brexit then the invoice balance to pay maybe subject to a 'Currency Charge' adjustment.
Invoices that are paid in full at the time of booking rates will not change.
AMENDMENTS TO BOOKINGS:
An Amendment fee of £14 per person named on the booking form will be made for any changes to your booking. If less than 6 weeks prior to the departure date of your tour you change your booking, this will be treated as a cancellation and thus cancellation charges will apply (As set out in part 4. CANCELLATION). New arrangements will be, as a new booking.
If you or a member of your party is prevented from travelling, you may transfer the place to someone else up to 28days prior to departure subject to the following: the reason for the transfer must be because of personal illness which prevents the person from travelling, death or serious illness of a close family relative, redundancy or unavoidable work commitments or jury service. Documentary proof must be provided. any balance due must be paid before the transfer is completed. the transferee meets any conditions which may apply to the tour and agrees to the terms of the Booking Agreement. the transfer must be requested in writing and full details of the transferee must be provided along with payment of the Amendment fee (As set out in Part 4 (I)).
CHANGES TO ARRANGEMENTS:
Arrangements for each tour are prepared many months in advance and whilst Select Motor Racing will do its best to satisfy your requirements, we reserve the right at our discretion to make alterations to, and correct errors in our Tour Guide and tour details both before and after your booking has been confirmed. These include significant changes before departure (which may mean a change of outward or return departure times and or a change of the main resort or a change of accommodation).
** If we do make a significant change after the date when payment of the balance of the tour becomes due, and up to the 14 day Tour Details Final Confirmation (see How to Book and what is Offered) we will in addition pay compensation amounting to £20 per person except where the change is made as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care which include but are not limited to those amounting to force majeure as described in part 6. Please note, compensation is not payable in the case of minor changes. The above does not apply to race tickets which are subject to alteration.
We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday and we reserve the right to do so at our discretion. However, we will only cancel after the date the final balance becomes due where either you fail to make payment in full and on time or where we are forced to do so as a result of circumstances outside of our control. Where your tour is canceled (other than due to your default of payment) we will offer you the choice of purchasing an alternative tour, of at least the same standard if available (and paying or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference) or receiving a full refund of all money paid to us less our administration charges as set out in (3) In addition where we cancel after the date the final balance falls due, we will pay you compensation amounting to £20 per person except where we are forced to cancel as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control, the consequences of which we would not have avoided even with all due care which include but are not limited to those amounting to force majeure as described in part 6 below or where you have defaulted in payment. In all cases our liability in respect of changes and cancellations is limited to offering the above mentioned choices and (where applicable) the compensation set out above. We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation. No compensation is payable where we cancel or make a change ten weeks or more before departure. **
We regret that Select Motor Racing cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligation is prevented or affected by 'force majeure' or where Select Motor Racing has had to a cancel the Tour due to minimum numbers.
In these booking conditions 'force majeure' means any event which we or the supplier of the services in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside of our control.
Select Motor Racing will do their best to ensure that your tour is a success. However, in the event that you should wish to complain about any aspect of your tour, you must notify the local Select Motor Racing representative at the time, who will do everything possible to put things right. The representative is there to help you and can usually deal with problems quickly and satisfactorily. If you should have a problem during your tour, inform the relevant supplier, (e.g. Hotel) and the Select representative immediately, who will try to resolve the problem. It is therefore a condition that you communicate any problem to the supplier of the services in question and our representative whilst in the resort. If your complaint cannot be resolved on the spot and you wish to take up the matter after your tour, a Complaint Registration Form, available from our representative must be completed in the resort before you return. You must ensure that the Tour Representative and the Complainant signs the Complaint Form and that both have a copy. You should then follow this up by writing to our Customer Services Department within 14 days of your return from the tour, quoting your Complaint Registration Form number and detailing the circumstances of your complaint. The matter will then be investigated on your behalf. If you fail to follow the procedure as detailed above, we cannot accept responsibility as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem.

All clients traveling with Select Motor Racing should have Travel Insurance against loss of money & luggage, medical expenses, cancellation charges in the event of illness prior to departure, etc. Other optional benefits could cover for redundancy qualifying for statutory payment. We ask that all passengers that travel on our tours must be adequately protected with travel insurance, please bring a copy with you on tour.
PASSPORT & VISA:
www.fco.gov.uk - provides the latest information for travelers and visa requirements.
Please allow plenty of time for your Visa application to be processed. Visa Applications : - you may need to use the service of a Professional Visa Processing Company if booking late. If your Visa application is declined our normal cancellation charges apply (see above).
Please ensure that you have a Valid Passport and any Visa Documents required for YOU to travel. All U.K. citizens must have a full 10 year passport before leaving the U.K. (with 6 months validity from the date of return for certain worldwide destinations). Non EC passport holders may need visas for certain countries. Passengers should check with the appropriate embassy or consulate to ascertain any visa requirements and the time needed to obtain them. Select Motor Racing cannot accept responsibility for passengers traveling without the correct documentation and we strongly advise all clients to either carry their passports with them or lock them in a hotel security safe throughout their Tour.
Non-European Passport Holders: Please ensure that you have a Valid Passport and any Visa Documents required for, you will need to complete a Landing Card for Immigration for almost all Countries that you arrive into.
On all travel to Member States of the EU it is advisable to carry with you a completed form E111. This form is available from the Post Office and entitles you to free or reduced cost emergency state medical treatment in the EU. Vaccinations may be advisable for some countries. Please consult your GP at least two months before departure for advice. Select Motor Racing recommend that you refer also to the Department of Health leaflet "Health Advice for Travelers" which is available at main post offices or by telephoning 0800 555 777.
Reasonable behavior is required at all time (as viewed by Select Motor Racing). Select Motor Racing our Agents or Suppliers providing services may refuse services to the Client. At which time our contract with the client(and or persons on the clients booking) will be broken, and he/she/they will be in breach of our Terms and Conditions with no refund or compensation payable to the client. All damages and extra cost incurred by Select Motor Racing as a consequence of such behavior will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid locally at the time.
We reserve the right to refuse passengers travel who appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
We do not allow smoking or the consumption of drugs or alcohol on the Coach. Passenger whose behavior is inconsiderate to others will also be asked to leave the Coach.
If any of these above occurs then no refund or compensation will be made. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a Paying Adult.
INCREASED SECURITY MEASURES:
The United States and several other countries now have enhanced security measures to protect travelers. Details on Travelers may be required ie Passport Number / Date of Birth / Full Address, prior to travel. As a responsible Tour operator we must and will request and provide this information (ie. some Hotels require this information).
Delays in Travel resulting in enhanced security or Airline delays can effect our services provided. Such delays may mean extra cost or travel as a result at your expense. (Example: Our departed service for your Airport and Shuttle Transfers to Hotels).
All Travel & Tours Prices quoted are per person sharing a Twin Room on a B&B basis and refer to the individual event.
Race Tickets - No Agent Fee is charged if you Book any of our Motor Racing Travel Packages - Race Tickets are NOT included in our Motor Racing Travel Package Prices. For Race Ticket Only Purchases see 'Ticket Terms and Conditions' below.
Travel Insurance - Is not included in our Package or Tour prices - (for Travel Insurance see above).
Single Room Supplements - Apply please refer to the individual Event.
Half Board Upgrade - available please refer to the individual Event.
Child Discounts - Sharing a Twin Room with Adults at the Full Price less £ 10 per Night reduction. Under 16yrs in Own Room ( Twin Share ) £ 20 Tour Package reduction.
Senior Citizen Discounts : ( Over 65 ) £ 20 Tour Package reduction, On Request.
Fan Club Discounts - Please enquire as we work very closely with a number of Driver & Teams Supporters.
Flights are not included in ANY of our Travel Packages. 'Flexible Travel' - you can book your own Flight and link this to our Escorted 'Hotel & Transfer Package'. We offer our Free 'Find a Flight Service' - If we Book a Flight on your behalf then the Airline Tickets Remain yours at ALL times and must be paid using your Charge Card. Tickets are Booked in Your Name and sent by the Airline Direct to You.

Race Tickets are extra to our Motor Racing Travel Packages and are sold as per our 'Ticket Terms and Conditions'.
All Payments must be in £ pounds sterling.
Bank Transfers - (by paying into a Lloyds/TSB Branch where no charge will be made for this service. A narrative [your name and booking reference] must be written on the payment slip).
Non UK Bank Payments - When paying from Non UK Bank Accounts ie Checking / Credit / Debit a payment charge is added to cover the incoming funds UK Bank charges. You must pay any sending charges made by your bank plus £7.00 UK charge.
UK Bank Cheque or Building Society Cheque - All UK cheques must be made payable to Select Motor Racing (Client Account).
Postal Orders - excepted no Cash (Not even by Registered Post).
The new EU ruling for Personal Credit or Debit Cards means no card processing fee is added by us.
We of course still have a charge from our processing providers.
For your security and ours we offer the following
