The meeting of the World Motor Sport Council has confirmed the structure of shakedown qualifying for next year's World Rally Championship.
The 2012 season will begin with Rallye Monte Carlo on January 17. Monte Carlo will be one of three WRC rounds which will include both support series - the Production Car WRC and the S2000 WRC. The other two events to feature both will be New Zealand and Catalunya.
