Event     Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa is an endurance racing event for cars held annually in Belgium since 1923 at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. It is currently sponsored by Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa, this was conceived by Jules de Their and Henri Langlois Van Ophem just one year after the inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans was run. It debuted in 1924 over a 15 kilometers circuit on public roads between the towns of Francorchamps, Malmedy and Stavelot, under the auspices of the Royal Automobile Club Belgium.
The present 7.004 kilometers circuit was inaugurated in 1979.

Whenever motor racing fans gather to discuss the merits of Formula One over Indy Car and Endurance Racing, racing one corner of a single circuit can usually silence the Indy Car fans - Eau Rouge at Spa. Although it can be described as a stretch of road that goes downhill and then uphill left, right, and left Eau Rouge is much more than that. To many purists it encapsulates the essence of Grand Prix racing as it tests drivers' skill, nerve and commitment - all in a matter of seconds.
