CIRCUIT
The Imola circuit in Italy was made notorious by the events of 1994, when Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger were killed in separate crashes during a single weekend.After the terrible events of 1994, the track was heavily revised and made considerably slower. Both the Tamburello and Villeneuve corners where Senna and Ratzenberger were killed were replaced by chicanes. The Acque Minerali bend was also reprofiled.
F1 continued to visit the track until the mid-noughties. The Variante Alta chicane was reworked and tightened for the 2006 race, but this was also the final running of the San Marino Grand Prix.
After F1 left the old Imola pit building was demolished and a new start/finish complex built. This allowed for the removal of the Variante Bassa chicane, restoring some of Imola's lost high-speed nature.
Arrive by Air Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport or Milan Airports then take the train.
For those wishing to join us for the Friday visit to Modena & Maranello, then you need to arrive Thursday.

Day 1 - Tuesday UK to Großkarlbach
Tour Check In : by 06:15 as we depart London Victoria Coach Station at 06:30 prompt, making our way to Dover to collect passengers.
We then continue to Eurotunnel for our late morning crossing, you will have plenty of time for brunch and any shopping or currency changes.
From the Nord Pas-de-Calais we continue through scenic France, onto Belgium and Luxembourg we make a late comfort stop for you to purchase dinner. We arrive from 21:00 at our Großkarlbach Hotel in time relax with a welcome wine from their vineyards.
Day 2 - Wednesday Großkarlbach to Mulhouse
After breakfast we make a prompt departure to Stuttgart, we make a number of stops for you to enjoy the surprises on the journey.
Making a morning comfort stop at Sinsheim Museum, so you can view the Tecknic Museum and see both Concorde and Tupolev TU-144, located on the museum roof. There are hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles from all eras.
We continue our journey to the Porsche and onto the Mercedes Museum, Stuttgart [ entrance fee payable ] there is never enough time to explore this Motorsport icon no matter what team you support. There is an excellent restaurant so you can enjoy an lunch.
We continue through Germany into France to stay in Mulhouse for our enroute stop. We have time for a relaxed evening and supper with the locals. All rooms have private en suite facilities.
Day 3 - Thursday Mulhouse to Parma
After breakfast we make a prompt departure to visit the Schlumpf Museum.
We continue via the Swiss Border Town of Basel. A scenic relaxed journey enjoying with so much to enjoy this is designed to give you scenic views of Lake Lucerne, Bouchs, and the Italian Alps.
We make several comfort and interest stops so you can have memories to savour.
We visit the Alfa Romeo Museum and step back in time, taking time for a long Italian lunch.
We continue onto our Parma Centre Styles hotel just a few moments walk from the town centre. All the rooms have air conditioning, TV with private ensuite facilities.
Time to explore and enjoy our first Italian dinner.

Day 4 - Friday Parma to Rimini via Modena & Maranello
After a relaxed breakfast we depart to Modena visiting the Enzo Ferrari Museum, Modena. Its where it all began !
We continue onto Maranello, to visit ; the Museum / Ferrari Shop / Cavallino's / Montana's restaurant , see history on the walls / get views of the Fiorina Test Track and Ferrari Wind Tunnel - we stop for photos . Check out the Memorabilia Shops and enjoy lunch in the square or enjoy lunch in Cavallino's, opposite Ferrari Factory, don't forget to get a picture.

Late afternoon we depart to Bologna Airport to collect passengers and continue to our Rimini tour hotel close to the beach.
CIRCUIT TRANSFERS
Saturday and Sunday. Imola Circuit is just over an hour away in normal traffic.We set you down just a few minutes walk from the town centre / circuit.

Day 5 - Saturday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the days track action.
After the Race we make a prompt departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 6 - Sunday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the days track action.

Day 7 - Monday Set down Bologna Airport onto Colmar
You have the option to return to the UK by Air. We set you down at Bologna Airport - flights extra.
Alternatively we continue onto our Colmar Hotel to enjoy the Wines and Beers of the Alsace-Lorraine.
This is a long day, relax and enjoy the journey through the Swiss Alps. With so much to enjoy this is designed to give you scenic views of the Italian Alps, Gotthard Pass, Lake Lucerne.
After hotel check-in we have time to explore this historic town and enjoy dinner with the delights of France.
Day 8 - Tuesday Colmar - Return UK
After breakfast we depart early to the UK.
We continue to Calais making enroute comfort stops, for our afternoon return Eurotunnel crossing.
Our arrival in Dover is approx. 17:30 we arrive back in London Victoria approximately 19:30
