DID YOU KNOW

Inaugurated in 1972, Dijon-Prenois quickly made history by hosting the biggest competitions, including its first Formula 1 French Grand Prix in 1974. On this now legendary track, the biggest names in the discipline have written their history: from Ronnie Peterson to Alain Prost, through the famous Arnoux-Villeneuve duel and the many memorable battles that have forged the reputation of the circuit.

On 20 May 1984, Dijon-Prenois hosted its last Formula 1 Grand Prix, won by Niki Lauda at the wheel of his McLaren-TAG Porsche. More than forty years later, the scent of the great mechanical epics will return to this exceptional route.
