1000 Miglia 2025 Event The 2025 edition will be held from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 June.
The format, for the third consecutive year, will be 5 days and will retrace the legendary pre-war races, running on a "figure eight" route like that of the first 12 editions of the 1000 Miglia speed race.
On Tuesday 17 June, the more than 400 cars admitted to the race will drive through Desenzano, Sirmione, Verona, Bovolone and Ferrara, before ending the day in San Lazzaro di Savena, in the metropolitan city of Bologna. On day two, the crews will tackle the Raticosa and Futa Passes. After passing through Prato and Siena, the cars will head towards Rome before heading north again.
After the turnaround in Rome, the Red Arrow will be in Orvieto, Foiano della Chiana, Arezzo and San Sepolcro; the return to San Marino will precede the arrival of the third leg in Cervia-Milano Marittima. On the fourth day, the most beautiful race in the world will cross the whole of Italy from East to West: having set off from Cervia, the 1000 Miglia 2025 will touch Forlì before cutting across the Apennines to Empoli, where the ascending route will cross the descent route taken two days earlier, towards Rome. Keeping westward, the Red Arrow will reach Pontedera and then the Tyrrhenian coast with the passage through the Italian Naval Academy in Livorno; the ascent will continue through Viareggio and the Cisa Pass to close the penultimate leg in Parma before the arrival in Brescia.
The cars are selected exclusively from the models that took part in at least one of the historical Mille Miglia races (from 1927 to 1957) and driven by a crew coming from all over the world.
History For over 30 years, Mille Miglia has been bringing together exceptional personalities to the world of sport.
Today, the re-enactment of the Mille Miglia is an event in a class of its own.
Enzo Ferrari called the 1000 Miglia 'A traveling museum unique in the world' and since 1927, the year of the first edition, the race has kept its propensity for innovation and above all it has never been just a race but a mix of history, a look at the future and journey through the incomparable beauty of Italy.
Mille Miglia has combined tradition with innovation, and vividly colored that combination with creativity, elegance, beautiful scenery and the Italian way of
living. This plethora of rich elements has made the Mille Miglia a symbol of Italian excellence all over the world. It starts off from Brescia, the beating heart of the Mille Miglia.
