General Tour Itinerary - EXAMPLE - Post GP
Lake Charles 1 night, New Orleans 2 night, Memphis 1 night, Nashville 1 night
Day 1 - Monday Houston to Lake Charles
Most folks will arrive from F1 Mexico GP. There is also the option of arriving New Orleans by air, please enquire.
Depart George Bush Houston International Airport TX at 13:00, based on our flights from F1 Mexico.
We continue to Lake Charles, it is located on the Calcasieu River in Southwest Louisiana.
Our Lake Charles enroute hotel is just a short walk from MacFalanes Irish Pub, it offers good hospitality, atmosphere and bar food.
Walking into the centre you can visit the Blue Dog Cafe and on the next block you have Luna's, live music and late night entertainment.
Day 2 - Tuesday Lake Charles via Batton Rouge to New Orleans
After a leisurely breakfast we depart to Baton Rouge, the capital city of Louisiana State. On the Mississippi River it offer a great lunch time comfort stop.
We continue to hotel check-in to refresh. We set you down in New Orleans centre setting you down in the French Quarter to have a tourist day.
Bourbon Street ; is the popular hot spot for fun and excitement, world-famous Bourbon Street is a "must-see" on any New Orleans itinerary.
Freret Street is Uptown New Orleans's offbeat nephew. Dotted with restaurants, cocktail bars, shops and music venues, locals and visitors alike enjoy this unique area.
Fulton Street offers casual outdoor dining with exciting live entertainment at the Fulton Street Mall.
We offer a late evening return and an extra late transfer to the hotel. Alternatively stay until dawn taking a taxi back to the hotel.
Day 3 - Wednesday Explore New Orleans
After breakfast a late breakfast we transfer you to New Orleans centre. Time to relax and take the Boat Cruise.
With so much to offer we know you need this extra 'Adventure Day'. We offer a late evening return as above.
Day 4 - Thursday New Orleans to Memphis
After breakfast we check-out and depart at 08:00 to Memphis. Taking HWY 55, it's a journey with moments to enjoy with a few SMR surprises.

We then check into our overnight hotel and after you have refreshed we depart to downtown Memphis.
Beale Street offers more as you walk this neon-lit street. You will catch wafts of smoking hot barbecue as well as mouth-watering dishes including Southern-fried chicken, Cajun specialties and the classic Memphis-style barbecue.
We offer a late evening return transfer to the hotel. Alternatively stay later and explore the action, taking a taxi back to the hotel.
Day 5 - Friday Memphis to Nashville
After a relaxed breakfast we check-out and depart at 09:00 and visit Sun Studios. We make an SMR surprise 'Tina Turner' stop before arriving at our Nashville hotel.
After you have refreshed for the evening, we set you down to explore and enjoy the sights and sounds on 2nd and Broadway.
The nightlife comes alive, don't forget to visit Coyote Ugly, Hard Rock Cafe and the Honky Tonk bars.
Day 6 - Saturday Nashville Extra Days or End of Tour
After breakfast we transfer you to Nashville International Airport. If you have a later flight then at your leisure take a taxi etc.
With so much to offer we know you need this extra 'Adventure Day'. We offer a transfer into Nashville Centre then you can return at your leisure take a taxi.
Your 'Select SMR' travel team departs Sunday afternoon. We wish you a safe journey and know you will have had a great travel adventure and experience.
