CIRCUIT
The Imola circuit in Italy was made notorious by the events of 1994, when Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger were killed in separate crashes during a single weekend.After the terrible events of 1994, the track was heavily revised and made considerably slower. Both the Tamburello and Villeneuve corners where Senna and Ratzenberger were killed were replaced by chicanes. The Acque Minerali bend was also reprofiled.
F1 continued to visit the track until the mid-noughties. The Variante Alta chicane was reworked and tightened for the 2006 race, but this was also the final running of the San Marino Grand Prix.
After F1 left the old Imola pit building was demolished and a new start/finish complex built. This allowed for the removal of the Variante Bassa chicane, restoring some of Imola's lost high-speed nature.

Day 1 - Tuesday UK to Metz
Tour Check In : by 05:45 as we depart London Victoria Coach Station at 06:00 prompt, making our way to Dover to collect passengers.
We then continue to Eurotunnel for our mid morning crossing.
At Eurotunnel you will have plenty of time for brunch and any shopping or currency changes.
From the Nord Pas-de-Calais we continue through Picardy. We make a late afternoon comfort stop and pass through picturesque Reims in the heart of the Champagne-Ardenne.
We make time to visit the Old Reims Circuit and step back in time.
We arrive early evening in Metz, the town centre is just a few minutes' walk away and offers a great range of restaurants and bars.
All the rooms have en suite facilities. If you wish to have dinner in the restaurant, then please pre book with reception.
Day 2 - Wednesday Metz to Como via the Swiss Alps
After a relaxed breakfast we depart to Como arrive in time to enjoy dinner on Lake Como.
We continue the 'Select Adventure' making a mid morning stop to enjoy Colmar. We continue into Switzerland via the Border Town of Basel.
We make a late lunch stop in Beckenried on Lake Lucerne with time to explore.
High Adventure For those wanting that extra moment then take the Buochs / Beckenried cable car experience, the magnificent alpine panorama and the magnificent landscape.
With so much to enjoy this is designed to give you scenic views of Lake Lucerne, Bouchs and the Italian Alps. The Gotthard Pass is normally closed at this time of year.
We make several comfort and interest stops so you can have memories to savour.
We continue down the valley past Bellinzona, Lake Lugano into Italy to our Como Hotel.
Our En-Route Stop Hotel has restaurant and bar. All the rooms have air conditioning, TV with private ensuite facilities.
Day 3 - Thursday Como to Modena / Maranello onto Rimini
After a relaxed breakfast we depart to Modena visiting the Enzo Ferrari Museum, Modena. Its where it all began !
We continue onto Maranello, to visit ; the Museum / Ferrari Shop / Cavallino's / Montana's restaurant , see history on the walls / get views of the Fiorina Test Track and Ferrari Wind Tunnel - we stop for photos . Check out the Memorabilia Shops and enjoy lunch in the square or enjoy lunch in Cavallino's, opposite Ferrari Factory, don't forget to get a picture.

Late afternoon we depart our Rimini tour hotel close to the beach.

CIRCUIT TRANSFERS
Imola Circuit is just over an hour away in normal traffic.We set you down just a few minutes walk from the town centre / circuit.
F1 Start Times therefore the tour transfer times will be adjusted [ local time]
Friday ; Practice 1 13:30 - 14:30 | Practice 2 17:00 - 18:00 | Saturday ; Practice 3 12:30 - 13:30 | Qualifying 16:00 - 17:00 | Sunday ; Race 15:00
Day 4 - Friday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the track action, support session and F1. Alternatively the day is free for you to relax and enjoy.
F1 First session 14:00 - 15:00 | Support Race practice | F1 Second session 17:00 - 18:00.
We depart the circuit after practice 2 returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 5 - Saturday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the days track action.
F1 13:00 - 14:00 Third practice session then 16:00 - 17:00 Qualifying. For the fans of F2 we stay to see the Race.
After the Race we make a prompt departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 6 - Sunday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit, to see the support races, Drivers parade and the Grand Prix.
F2 Second Race | Porsche Supercup | F1 Drivers Parade | Formula One GP Start 15:00.
After the race we make a slow departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 7 - Monday Rimini to Colmar
We make an early departure to our enroute Colmar stop in France.
Entering Switzerland we enjoy the fabulous lakes and mountain scenery. We climb taking the Gotthard Pass [ if open], making several photo stops. We make a comfort early lunch stop at Altdorf for those magic photo's.
We arrive early evening in picturesque Colmar, the hotel has restaurant. Set down town centre dinner option or local bars.
Day 8 - Tuesday Coach Tour depart to UK
After breakfast we depart early and travel direct back to the UK making enroute comfort stops.
We continue to Calais for our afternoon return Sailing / Eurotunnel.
Our arrival in Dover is approx. 18:00 we arrive back in London Victoria approximately 20:30
