CIRCUIT PARK ZANDVOORT After 35 years the Dutch Grand Prix returns to the F1 calendar. The FIA, the teams and the Dutch Motorsport Federation KNAF are working on the circuit design to ensure suitability for F1 cars and to encourage overtaking,
Zandvoort is a beach resort located near Amsterdam and is known for its magnificent dunes which separate the track from the North Sea.
The original track, as well as Suzuka, was designed by Hans Hugenholtz and is very different from modern circuits. With quite some elevation change, high speed corners and technical sectors the track doesn't provide much room for error.

General Tour Itinerary - EXAMPLE

Day 1 - Wednesday Arrive Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport
Arrive Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport ; take the '397 Airport Bus platform B17' - use the ‘Anderlechtlaan’ bus stop, the hotel is within walking distance from the stop.
After check-in the remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy. Your travel team and hotel reception are on hand to assist with any excursions.

The Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West is a first class hotel in the scenic south-western outskirts of Amsterdam city center directly located at Nieuwe Meer recreation area, just a few minutes drive from the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Offering air-conditioning, modern gym and free WiFi. Enjoy fine dining at restaurant “At West” and see the bar and adjoining summer terrace for a hot cup of coffee or chilled drinks.
Day 2 - Thursday Free Day
After a relaxed breakfast take the local bus into Amsterdam center to explore and enjoy this cultural city with so much to offer.
Reception and our UK Travel Team are on hand to assist with any excursions.
CIRCUIT TRANSFERS
Please Note: Coach Parking will mean a good walk to the track,road access is very difficult due to crowds and the special Bus routes must be used, this will mean a long transfer times.
F1 Start Times therefore the tour transfer times will be adjusted [ local time]
Friday ; Practice 1 12:30 - 13:30 | Practice 2 16:00 - 17:00 | Saturday ; Practice 3 11:30 - 12:30 | Qualifying 15:00 - 16:00 | Sunday ; Race 15:00
Day 3 - Friday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the track action, support session and F1. Alternatively the day is free for you to relax and enjoy.
F1 First session 14:00 - 15:00 | Support Race practice | F1 Second session 17:00 - 18:00.
We depart the circuit at 17:30 returning direct to the Hotel.
Tourist time for those wanting to explore use the hotel bikes or simply take the local bus from outside the hotel.
Day 4 - Saturday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit for the days track action.
F1 12:00 - 13:00 Third practice session then 15:00 - 16:00 Qualifying.
For the fans of F2 we stay to see the Race. After the Race we make a prompt departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 5 - Sunday Circuit Transfers
After breakfast we depart to the circuit, to see the support races, Drivers parade and the Grand Prix.
F2 Second Race | Porsche Supercup | F1 Drivers Parade | Formula One GP Start 15:00.
After the race we make a slow departure returning direct to the Hotel.
Day 6 - Monday UK Travel Team and Coach depart
Hotel check out is by 10:30. We wish you a safe onward journey. Subject to your flight time on Monday we offer our Shuttle to the local Railway Station. For afternoon or late flights or departures another day then reception will call you a taxi at your expense.
