    Las Vegas, officially the City of Las Vegas and often known simply as Vegas, is the 28th-most populated city in the United States.
    It is the most populated city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County within the greater Mojave Desert.

    General Tour Itinerary - EXAMPLE - Pre Grand Prix
    6 night tour ; Henderson LV 1n, Flagstaff 1n, Kayenta 1n, Williams 1n, *Old Downtown Las Vegas 1n, Bastrop Texas 1n
    Day 1 - Thursday   Arrive Las Vegas Airport, stay Henderson Las Vegas NV

    We look forward to greeting you at Harry Reid International Airport. We then transfer to our Henderson Las Vegas Hotel.
    After check-in when you have freshened up, please join us for our 'Welcome Meet' drink so you can meet your fellow adventurers.
    We set you down to enjoy the Strip and Downtown Las Vegas for your evening experience [ adjusted based on your flight arrival ].

    Day 2 - Friday   Las Vegas to Route 66 and Flagstaff AZ

    As the Blues Brothers & Kev said, we've got a full tank of gas, and an adventure to have.

    After breakfast we depart taking the back roads as the 'Adventure' begins.
    We make a surprise stop at Laughlin before our lunchtime stop at Historic Oatman on Route 66, a true step back in time.
    Making several Tourist Stops, just to tease the locals, we continue to Seligman, home of Route 66. Time for me to revisit, I love this place. We take lots of time to enjoy and experience a step back in time.
    We continue, staying on 66 to Flagstaff to explore and enjoy the evening.
    After check-in, when you have freshened up we set you down so you can enjoy dinner. There is plenty of time to explore on Route 66.

    Day 3 - Saturday   visit Cameron, Monument Valley to Kayenta

    After a leisurely breakfast we depart to Monument Valley. We visit Cameron 'Indian' Trading Post and several stops viewing the Navajo Nation Reservation and the Hopi Tribe area of Tuba City.
    Time moves forward an hour, we check-in at our Kayenta Hotel and continue to Monument Valley and Goulding's UTAH.
    At Goulding's we take time to enjoy a late lunch and then explore the Museum. See the history of John Wayne, Ward Bond and John Ford.

    Late afternoon [ 16:00 ] we depart on our 2hr 30m Pre Booked Private Excursion of the Navajo Nation Reservation. This optional tour to the famous monoliths of Monument Valley is a 'must see and do moment'.
    Photo stops will be made at The Mittens, John Ford's Point, Three Sisters, North Window, Totem Pole, Yei Bi Cheis and Artist's Point.
    This is a no rush evening as we stay on to see the Sun set on this true natural Wonder of the World, 'Monument Valley'.
    We return to Kayenta ARIZONA to enjoy time over coffee with our fellow travellers. Kayenta means an alcohol free day within the Reservation.

    Just so you know Kayenta / Monument Valley
    Kayenta is part of the Navajo Nation and is in Navajo County, Arizona, United States.
    Kayenta is located 25 miles (40 km) south of Monument Valley and contains a number of hotels and motels which service visitors to Monument Valley.
    Like other places within the Navajo Nation, it is illegal to serve alcohol, though you can 'bring your own'.
    Arizona does not observe Daylight Time; however, the Navajo reservation does. Kayenta also known as (Navajo: Toh-Den-Nas-Shai) meaning "Little fingers of running water".
    Harry Goulding and his wife Leone, whose nickname was "Mike", came to Monument Valley in the early 1920's.

    Day 4 - Sunday   Kayenta, visit Grand Canyon to Williams

    After breakfast we depart to the Grand Canyon making a comfort stop Tuba City and Cameron 'Indian' Trading Post.
    Time moves back an hour. We travel The Grand Canyon Southern Rim making several photo stops until 'Desert View' point.
    We arrive at the Southern Rim Visitors Centre in time for lunch and so you can walk the Rim and explore.

    It's a day with options!
    Travel on the Grand Canyon Railway [ must be pre booked to Williams Station ]. We will be at the Station to greet you and transfer you to the hotel.
    Or stay with our MPV Shuttle and travel by road via Bedrock City to visit Fred and Wilma for a photo.
    You can also pre book the optional Canyon Helicopter Flyover.
    Late afternoon stay at William on R66. This town promotes itself as the 'Gateway' to the Grand Canyon, take time explore the 'Railroad Station'.
    After check-in, when you have freshened up we set you down so you can enjoy dinner. There is plenty of time to explore Route 66 and have a toe tapping time!

    Day 5 -   Monday   Williams onto Henderson, or optional stay *Old Downtown Las Vegas

    After breakfast we depart we taking the Old 66 Historic Loop route, visiting Hackberry, Valentine and Kingman.
    We have a few surprise stops along the way !
    Late afternoon you check into your hotel, after you have refreshed we offer an optional Las Vegas evening set-down at Fremont Street in Old Downtown Las Vegas so you can enjoy a late night.

    Day 6 -   Tuesday   LV > flights to Houston onto Bastrop - Austin, Texas

    Flight ; Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport to Houston.
    After a breakfast we make a prompt departure depart, driving the strip for our flight to Houston [ the internal flight will be advised and pre booked ].
    Arrive Houston [ a time change of +2 hours ] we make a late afternoon stop at Columbus so you can purchase you Texas outfits for the coming days adventures.
    We stay in Bastrop near Austin so you can enjoy this Historical Town and enjoy a Texas dinner.
